The Vaccines, food trucks, an outside bar and portaloos, is it festival season already, or is it just The Prospect Building? 

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of their debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, The Vaccines take to The Prospect Building to play their staple indie album in full.

Walking onto a stage with their name in lights and opening with Blow It Up, the band encouraged fans to let loose and just have a good time. And that they did – there wasn’t a single person with their arms down and not singing along for the entire set.

If You Wanna, a song that still remains an indie night club anthem 15 years later, received the biggest crowd reaction as a wave of nostalgia crashed over the room. Closing the anniversary portion of the show on a softer note with Somebody Else’s Child, the stripped-back moment gave the audience time to breathe before the storm picked up again. Continuing the show with hits such as Your Love  Is My Favourite Band and Headphones Baby, The Vaccines have demonstrated that they aren’t just a one album wonder.

Ending the gig with All My Friends Are Falling In Love, the band left adoring fans dancing and chanting the title of the song, which happen to be the repeated lyrics of the chorus.
