Nightbus

Marrying gloomy guitars and sullen vocals atop of New Order-inspired beats is how Manchester’s Nightbus have asserted themselves as a hotly tipped frontrunner in the ever-twisting labyrinth of new British music. Eerie, minimalist and teeming with references to the city that birthed them, this enigmatic trio thrive on the concept of late nights and hazy memories. Akin to the melancholia of The xx and Joy Division, Nightbus cultivate a murky, late-night world, encapsulated beautifully, albeit darkly, in the latest single Exposed To Some Light.
