Monticolombi started his solo project amidst the frustration of early lockdown life in the UK. With a background in a well-known soul collective (named the Soul Stretch Gang), Monticolombi started his own project after facing a life-altering heart attack at a young age. Intentionally, the music brims with a compelling sense of optimism, a lively energy and mindset that has formed from various health issues. His latest single, In The Morning, boasts a blurry-eyed kind of young love, demonstrated through a delicious hip hop fusion and smiling swagger.
