Laimu

By Resonate | December 16, 2020

Laimu (pronounced lie-moo) are a Bristol-based band that confidently play with a modern and quirky depiction of jazz and soul. With only two singles released, but a full festival set heavily refined, Laimu boast sultry vocals and somewhat feisty, eclectic riffs. Their expansive live energy oozes from their most prominent punchy effort, Barefoot. Which leaves Fruit to showcase their ability to produce satisfying harmonies and poignant lyrical content.

Clearly a bunch of true music lovers, Laimu have received previous support from Jazz FM and BBC Introducing alongside a support slot for The Hot 8 Brass Band and UB40. Having built up musical tension in the midst of the UK lockdown (alongside many other creatives), Laimu are looking forward to an onslaught of new music wrapped up as their very first EP in 2021.
