JOSH BAKER LIVE AT BRISTOL’S DOCUMENT, 28TH NOVEMBER 2025

By Resonate | March 4, 2026

From the moment Josh Baker stepped behind the decks, Bristol seemed to heat from the inside out.

On Friday 28th November, Document was transformed into a sweat-slicked hemisphere, full wall to wall with moving bodies and rolling basslines as Baker demonstrated a masterclass in the art of being a house music DJ.

Heads down, hands up – everywhere people were lost in the music, riding the peaks and the troughs in Baker’s mixing that kept the crowd entranced for the entirety of his three-hour set. Known for his crisp, tightly woven tracks and tight transitions, he wasted no time in displaying why he is one of the hottest names in dance music right now.

Josh Baker had the audience in the palm of his hand, playing his most talked-about tracks such as Misleading, which gained roars of excitement from the wave of dancers in front of him.  Tunes were blended so seamlessly that the night felt more like a conversation between DJ and dancefloor, with the audience erupting at every build-up and percussion release whilst being transfixed by the hypnotic patterns that saw instinctive dancing from every member. Baker kept the crowd locked in a groove that didn’t let up for a second.

After the evening was over, one thing was undeniably clear. Josh Baker doesn’t just play house music; he’s shaping what we know the genre to be today.
