JADE – ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! THE ENCORE’ ALBUM REVIEW
By Resonate | March 4, 2026
In recent years, the art of the deluxe album has been lost. Artists often put out three new tracks for a quick cash grab. However, that isn’t the case with JADE. That’s Showbiz Baby: The Encore expands the album’s world in a way I haven’t seen a deluxe do so since Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster.
This album is the afterglow of the show, with the star offering one more piece of herself. With seven new tracks, Church celebrates the entire era and is a love letter to her LGBTQ+ fanbase, presenting pop music as a ‘space of church’ to get lost in. We also see Jade get personal about her family life within this project. Best You Could is a beautiful and emotional pop ballad about her relationship with her father. A personal highlight for me, though, is Use Me, a sweaty, club-ready pop track like Kylie’s, a queer anthem in the making.
Fans who followed JADE in Little Mix saw her star potential, so witnessing her exceed expectations this year has been incredible. With this deluxe edition, she carves out her own lane in pop, demanding attention.
